A great table & chairs product. Just too bad the packing is the worse I have ever seen or experienced. Not only was the carton torn, but the sheets of stryofoam protection were but bits. Good thing I opened it on the lawn. Consequently one wheel was shattered, but Amazon reimbursed me for new wheels which I purchased locally after just a few days. Someone needs to review the manufacturers packing methods & test them. I was amazed I didn't receive a bunch of wood. Also no instructions on the minor assembly, nor any maintenance instructions and the website referred to just takes you back to Amazon. I never received a reply on how to maintain this great table. I would buy a second if I thought it would arrive better.
 Poor packaging and shipping July 25, 2008

I had to order this product four times. The first one showed up obviously damaged. The second and third orders never even made it to my door and were reported damaged in shipment. The fourth order showed up and the box was smashed and had been re-taped very poorly. It appeared as though it had been returned once before, or perhaps fallen off a fast moving truck. The flimsy styrofoam protection was crushed and in tiny pieces. After unpacking, we discovered the wheels were destroyed, one piece of wood on the table was broken and two chair legs were split. It was impossible to repackage and the mess took me a half an hour to clean up. This is a pretty decent product for $279. but what idiots they must have designing their packaging. This item is way too heavy for the tiny amount of thin styrofoam padding.

Don't waste your money on this! Like so many before me, the table and chairs arrived badly packaged and cracked. We ordered a replacement andit also arrived damaged beyond use. I don't trust the company to package this correctly. We had to wait around many times for UPS and really wasted our time. Finally we ordered from another company.
Center was broken on first shipment, replacement shipment was broken too June 26, 2008

It's funny, I'm pretty sure I received the same table as the previous reviewer. It was obvious that the box had been opened and returned, the wheels were used and the table had a huge crack and missing piece in the middle. I don't think Amazon did this intentionally, what would be the point of it, the damage was so significant anyone would return it again.
Anyway, Amazon is having it picked up and replaced. They were quick about dealing with the problem, so hopefully I will get a table that isn't damaged soon.
UPDATE: Second table they sent me was broken as well, so I give up. I will go to my local outdoor furniture store and purchase. It's too bad, I really liked the appearance of it in the picture.

This set is perfect for what I needed, a table big enough for a nice dinner and then small enough to store away without taking up much space. The chairs are easy to take out and just as easy to put back after use.
