This hammock is very nice and comfortable! It is built very well and I can see this lasting a long time. My only complaint is that I was sent the wrong color. The color they sent is fine, but not the color I wanted.

Very well made hammock, much more comfy than the "all rope" kind. Seems quite sturdy. We do take it down when expecting significant rain, as instructions state it could mildew after a while. Easily mounted between two trees. Only improvement would be an attached pillow!

Strathwood Quilted Fabric Hammock, Red Stripe I ordered this for my husband for Father's Day. I opened up the shipping box and the invoice and box containing the hammock stated it was the Red Stripe Hammock, so I didn't open it any further. However, when my husband opened it up on Father's Day, we discovered it was a tan/white checkered board patterned hammock that Strathwood makes, but that I didn't order or want. I called Amazon help right away and they couldn't tell me anything about why the wrong one was sent it the correct packaging. They apologized and offered to reorder it for me. I asked if they could find out if I reordered it if they could guarantee me it would be the red stripe one this time. Since the packing slip and package box both stated red stripe, I was concerned that they may not even have the red stripe one in stock or at the facility where they packaged to ship. She said she would contact the distribution center and get back in touch. I never heard from them again. I don't want to go through the hassle of reordering it and having to return it again. Best of luck getting the one you order. I saw other comments regarding this same issue but not until after I had my ordeal.

Purchased this as a replacement to a woven hammock. This solid one is much better, easier to get in and out. Excellent craftsmanship and color is awsome!
