 Good hammock for camping June 10, 2010

This is a pretty nice compact hammock. So far we set it up on our hammock stand on the porch, and it worked just fine. I weigh 200lbs. and it seemed nice and sturdy. It does have that cocooning effect when you're in it since it doesn't have spacer bars at the ends, but that's why I say it would be good for camping. I wouldn't use this as my "lazy summer day in the back yard reading a book" hammock since it's a little difficult to lay back without it closing around you. Laying diagonally does help a little.
Overall great hammock for the price, and love the fact that it has mosquito net and folds up into the little bag that is attached.

I bought it just because it was only $10.
When I got it I initially hanged it on the porch. I just flipped it upside down to hide mosquito net and I used it as a porch swing. I was surprised to see that this $10 hammock survived on several occasions 2 people in it. We are talking over 350lb combined weight.
I also took it hiking and I slept in it. Can't beat 1 min set up time.
Great product.
